The family Valdelana leads to cultivate their land and producing wines in Elciego since the sixteenth century.
The winery now owns 120 ha. chosen with the vineyard that produces wine.
It is a winery built on six drafts Centennial underground stone masonry dating from the XV and XVI, where are located our barrels, a chapel dating from 1583 and a draft that we call "The oldest" dating from 1483.
Our special "tasting room” located in an underground draft to 10 feet underground. Where are enjoying a wonderful view of a vineyard infinite accompanied with sounds of nature at the time to taste our wines.
In the attic of the cave houses an ethnographic museum, tangible evidence of development of viticulture in Elciego. The exhibition includes, from 6500 years ago utensils, tools related to viticulture used in the nineteenth century. |
